A few weekends ago I was invited to an International Women’s Day function organised by Real Media Real Change (RMRC) in collaboration with Esoteric Women’s Health. I was under the impression that I was there to support them. I was wrong.
From the car trip there, to walking into the function, there was something bigger offered than what I had thought. There was something different about the women, something that I hadn’t chosen to see before… or possibly something that wasn’t there before. They were dressed differently. It seemed to me like each one of them was having their own little celebration with themselves, but also sharing it with each other. Each of the women was doing their little part of the organisation of the event. I didn’t see one woman in charge and others following instructions. I saw women together, sharing each other and their time. They were all shining together – it was amazing.
The two presenters, one of whom was Natalie Benhayon, didn’t compete with each other on what they said, they weren’t trying to be better or the best. It seemed to me they supported each other, complemented each other without trying to. I watched how different women at the function were also drawn to the different presenters. Some related to one and others related to the other. It was almost like that without planning it – these two ladies presenting together were able to cover the whole group with what they said.
What I saw was completely different to my past experiences with women in groups. It has changed how I see women. To me, what I saw and experienced was truly beautiful. Thank you.
