The Power of Women when United

Recently I was offered the opportunity to feel the ABSOLUTE power that naturally exists between two women when they both choose to connect in essence: it was an insight into the power and beauty women hold when united. When connected to another’s essence we let go of all our stuff, comparisons, and judgments and even stop competing with each other, hence make way for so much more. It felt very still, huge, unwavering and silky to connect with another woman’s essence, but it also felt very normal and familiar – even though I can not remember feeling such a pure connection before.

I have since spent time reflecting on why I am not open enough to feel this as a normal everyday way of being with other women, when I know this is my natural way of connecting with others.

I remember from a certain age it was no longer seen as acceptable behavior by those around me to hold my friend’s hand or be too close to other girls; rather it was something that was looked down upon, or seen as sexual. How sad, that at such a young age girls are made to feel there is something wrong with being close to another girl. To me this seems a deplorable trick to stop young girls building their connections with each other, so that when they reach womanhood all that is there is the rigidity that we as a society allow and promote. If one wanted to sabotage the connection that can be felt between two women, and the power that emanates from such a connection, this would be a very clever way and point at which to do so. Women truly have the power to bring the world to its knees by the love they hold, and to lead the world to a truer way of being by reflecting that love as an example.

I once heard Natalie Benhayon say women had the power to change the world: this I now know to be an unshakable truth, as I have felt the power that exists when two women unite in essence, and I am sure it could even move mountains…
